As we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, it's with humility and gratitude that we recognize the gift of His birth, death and resurrection, as well as those gifts bestowed on our effort to plant a new LCMS church in Spartanburg County.
We're blessed with a dedicated team to see this mission through. We're blessed with financial support from our LCMS Southeastern District. We're blessed with the fact that God has given us a vicar to help lead this congregation going forward. And we're blessed with many individuals, future members of this fledgling congregation, to help lay the foundation of His new church.
We wish you and yours Christmas peace and joy. We're prayerful that, although this season won't see Christmas worship at Resurrection, God will continue to bless our efforts and Christmas 2026 will be celebrated by this new congregation.
If you're searching for traditional Lutheran worship this holiday season, please visit Immanuel Lutheran Church's (Simpsonville) website at ilc-sc.org for the worship schedule.
God's peace—at Christmastime and for 2026!
Join us at our "temporary home" (address shown below) to learn about the First Century Church & What Jesus' Disciples Believed and Taught!

Empowered by God's Holy Word, led by the Holy Spirit, we joyfully share the love of Jesus with all people through worship, teaching, fellowship, service, and witnessing to the community.

Join us for Bible Study and soon for worship.
We're grateful that the leadership of Church of the Covenant has given us a temporary home at 9020 Asheville Highway, Boiling Springs, SC 29316
In the meantime, if you're looking to worship at a LCMS church before Resurrection begins to offer services, and you can make the trip, Immanuel Lutheran in Simpsonville worships every Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
